Media predicts Kazakhstani IBO and WBA middleweight champion Gennady Golovkin’s victory over former-champion from Australia Daniel Geale in the fight on July 26 in New York, Tengrinews reports citing Vesti.kz.

Golovkin TKOs Geale in 3rd round

Golovkin will defend his belt against Geale at Madison Square Garden in a 12 round fight. Bleacher Report predicted that Golovkin’s opponent would be TKOed in the 7th round.

Golovkin himself had earlier expressed doubt that Geale would remain standing for 12 rounds. Since 2008 no opponents of the Kazakhstani boxer have managed to keep fighting to the final round. GGG scored 26 KOs out of 29 fights he had.

The upcoming fight against Geale will mark Golovkin’s 30th fight and 11th fight to defend his title. The Golovkin-Geale fight will be streamed live in over 100 countries. Kazakhstanis will be able to see the fight on KazSport and Kazakhstan TV channels.
