I will be looking forward to new victories of Podobedova and Ilyin at the Games,” Maneza said. “We promised to strive hard for the awards and we have lived up to our promises. I am satisfied with the results and the fact that we haven’t let our fans and the country down. I’d like to thank our fans for the huge support that they are providing to our athletes,” Aleksey Ni, chief coach of Kazakhstan national weight-lifting team said. Kazakhstan professional cyclist Alexandre Vinokourov and one more weight-lifter Zulfiya Chinshanlo brought gold medals to Kazakhstan earlier.
