Former captain of Astana's Barys Hockey Club, Canadian defender Kevin Dallman said that he would like to return to Kazakhstan, Tengrinews.kz reports, citing Vesti.kz. Dallman, who is caped for SKA Saint Petersburg at present, met his former teammates, who were playing as part of Kazakhstan's national hockey team in the third tournament of the President’s Cup. Canadian hockey player said that he liked the way Kazakhstan fans greeted him. “The fans were glad to see me. It seems that they love me very much, I could feel it. They were greeting me loudly when I appeared on the ice. As for the President’s Cup I don’t know what our goal is here. Probably, it is to win. This is a question for our team’s managers. We’ve got the top tasks for the Continental Hockey League Championship. I don’t think it will be any easier to win the Gagarin Cup playing in SKA. This is hard work in any team. However, everything depends on the hockey players and the matches will show everything. Every match is important. However, I would like to return to Kazakhstan. And I will return if I get a chance. I am not a captain of the team in my new club. But it is not so important to me, the victory comes first,” former Barys champion said. The Canadian defender was good in the first match against Kazakhstan team at Kazakhstan President’s Cup. Eventually SKA team won over Kazakhstan team with the score of 3:0. Earlier Tengrinews.kz English reported that Astana Barys team managers refused to extend a contract with Canadian defender Kevin Dallman and he signed a contract with SKA Saint Petersburg Hockey Club.
