Kazakhstan tennis professional Yaroslava Shvedodova has won the doubles at the WTA tournament in Brazil, Tengrinews reports citing Vesti.kz. Kazakhstan's Shvedova together with Spanish Anabel Medina Garrigues beat the duo of Francesca Schiavone and Silvia Soler-Espinosa in the final match of the tournament in Florianopolis city. Shvedova and Garrigues won the first set of the match tie-break with the score of 7:6, but they lost the second one with the score of 2:6. In the end, the Spanish-Kazakh duo snatched the victory in the third decisive set that lasted till the 10th wining game, finishing the final set with the score of 10:3. "It's our second time in Florianopolis and second time we're leaving with the trophy - it's very cool," Shvedova said, "Last year this tournament helped us decide to team up this year, because we agreed to play the whole year. We really like playing together and off the court we are good friends as well." Kazakhstan tennis player Yaroslava Shvedova made a breaking entry into the semi-finals of the WTA tournament in Brazil's city of Florianopolis, but unfortunately she lost the match to Garbine Muguruza Blanco of Spain. Garbine Muguruza faced Barbora Zahlavova Strycova of the Czech Republic in the finals. Muguruza won 6:2 and 7:5. The prize pool of the Brazil Tennis Cup made $250 thousand.
