The “Iron Mike” era ended in May 1986 when Tyson faced a contender for the championship title James Tillis. During the fight Tillis, despite going down in a knock down, continued to fight for 10 rounds. Tyson won by the unanimous decision of the judges.

The knockout in a fight against Murray, too, has become Golovkin’s 19th KO. The next “Iron Mike” or not, but Golovkin definitely scored unheard for a middleweight KO ratio back in 2014 and continues to sustain the 90% mark.
