In Incheon, Chinshanlo lifted 96 kilos in the snatch in her third attempt, which is one kilo more than she lifted in London. However, Hsu Shu-ching from Taiwan lifted 101 kilos, and Chinese weightlifter Zhang Wanqiong snatched 102 kilos. As a result, the Kazakhstani weightlifter got the third place.
In the clean and jerk, Chinshanlo first wanted to try 120 kilos, but then changed it to 130 kilos. Zhang’s best clean and jerk was 126 kilos. After lifting 125 kilos, Chinshanlo set another world record with 131 kilos in the clean and jerk. But her opponent Hsu lifted the same weight in her third attempt.
To win the Asian Games, the Chinshanlo attempted to lift 137 kilos, which is 6 kilos more than the world record. But the attempt was unsuccessful. Chinshanlo won the second place at the Asian Games and the Taiwanese weightlifter celebrated her gold medal.
