Kazakhstani fighter Tleuov wins MMA tournament

The Royal Plaza Alash Pride vol.3 international tournament in mixed martial arts has ended in Kapshagai near Kazakstan's Almaty, Tengrinews reports citing Vesti.kz.


The Royal Plaza Alash Pride vol.3 international tournament in mixed martial arts has ended in Kapshagai near Kazakstan's Almaty, Tengrinews reports citing Vesti.kz.

A fighter from Kazakhstan’s Alash Pride club Yermek Tlauov faced his Turkish opponent from Firuz Mammadov from Shidokan MMA in the headliner fight. Tlauov won by submission in the beginning of the second round. This marked his 8th victory in the octagon. Previously, Tlauov lost two fights. Meanwhile, Mammadov lost for the second time in his career. So far, the Turkish fighter has had 6 fights in the octagon.

The MMA RPAP vol.3 gathered 20 professional figherst from OPLOT (Russia), Patriot, Alyans, Russian Full Contact, Max Fighters (Uzbekistan), Shidokan MMA (Turkey) and Kazakhstani Alash Pride, Pankration Fight Team and Edil teams.

On January 24, Kapshagai hosted the second international MMA tournament Royal Plaza Alash Pride Vol.2. Shakhmaral Jetpisov of the Alash Pride lost to a Kyrgyz fighter Tilek Zheenberov.
