Kazakhstan yachtsmen Ruslan Dzhangazov and his daughter Karina will participate in the annual Qatar Regatta Championship, Tengrinews.kz reports, citing Vladimir Mudrichenko, chief coach of the National School of Sports Excellence. “Ruslan and Karina will compete in Laser and Laser-radial Olympic classifications in Qatar. Open Kazakhstan Championship finished on October 9, and the Dzhangazovs won in these classifications. They left for Qatar after the competition. The Championship will include twelve races and will finish on October 16,” Mudrichenko said. He also added that Qatar competition is one of the key training stages for Ruslan Dzhangazov before the Australian World Championship to be held in December. Kazakhstan yachtsman will aim to obtain a winning spot for the next year's London Olympics Games in the Australian Championship. Yachting season in Kazakhstan is already over. The next national competition will take place at Kapshagay lake in May 2012. Kazakhstan yachtsmen are also expected to compete in Blue Issyk-Kul Championship in Kyrgyzstan in November, 2011.
