Tengrinews.kz – Representative of the Kazakhstan freestyle mogul skiing team Anastasia Gorodko became the winner of the Universiade in Torino, Italy, for the second time.

According to the National Olympic Committee of the Republic, Kazakhstani Anastasia Gorodko and Ayaulym Amrenova reached the final in parallel moguls. Gorodko, who won the moguls competition the day before, was stronger in the decisive race.

Meanwhile, Amrenova got the silver medal.

It is reported that in men's parallel mogul Anton Bondarev also won a silver medal, losing in the final to the rival from Japan.

Thus, our mogul skiers brought the country four medals.

Gorodko is a three-time world champion. In 2022, she won gold in parallel moguls, and in 2024, she became the first in moguls. Earlier this year, at the World Junior Championships in Almaty, she won gold in parallel moguls.

In addition, she has silver in the individual competition in Almaty. Also in 2022, she became the second in the individual standings and in the team mix.
