Kazakhstan racer Arthur Ardavichus will take part in the third stage of motor boating European Championship and Minsk Cup to be held in Belarus on September 9-10, Tengrinews.kz reports. The sportsman famous for truck-racing in Dakar is finishing preparation for the new season in the United Arab Emirates. “I am flying to Minsk tomorrow. I took part in two stages of the European Championship, but the results are not the best in this season yet. I will try to improve in Belarus,” the racer said. The tournament will be held at Drozdy water reservoir. Single-hull boats will take part in the 6-hour race on September 9. Racers from Russia, Estonia, Latvia and Hungary are expected to participate in the tournament. July 2011 Ardavichus took part in the Silk Way rally. Kazakhstan team was ranked 14th in the general classification being about 6 hours behind the leader. The pilot called this result well-deserved, as he considered this race the main stage of preparation for Dakar, that will kick off on January 1, 2012 in Argentina.
