The national tennis team of Kazakhstan has moved up to the seventh place in the Davis Cup ranking, Vesti.kz reports.
The Kazakhstan team has improved its position thanks to the recent victory over the Austrian team. Spanish team has retained the first line in the general classification of men’s tennis teams. The Czech team has kept its second line. The Argentinian team follows it.
Kazakhstan will play against the Czech team in the quarterfinals of the Davis Cup.
Yjr Russian team has lost nine lines and dropped to the 26th line in the updated version of the ranking.
Earlier the Kazakhstan team won over the Austrian team with the score of 3:1 in the 1/8 finals of the Davis Cup tournament.
