On September 9, athletes from the national team won 14 gold medals, boosting Kazakhstan's position in the Games' overall medal count. The Kazakh athletes secured three championships in the "Audaryspak" discipline, eight gold medals in "Kazakh Kuresi," and one each in "Traditional Archery," "Zhamby Atu," and "Kurash."
The champions in their respective disciplines were: Yermek Kuralbay (Audaryspak), Almat Latipbek (Audaryspak), Daryn Otkelbay (Audaryspak), Aizhan Zhylkybayeva (Qazaq kuresi), Bekzhan Tolepov (Qazaq kuresi), Zhanibek Kulmirzayev (Traditional Archery), Nazerke Azamatova (Qazaq kuresi), Batyr Beksauyt (Zhamby Atu), Rauza Nurmukhammetova (Qazaq kuresi), Didar Tukyshev (Qazaq kuresi), Albina Bakhiyeva (Kurash), Meyirzhan Bereketov (Qazaq kuresi), Bakyt Kussakbayeva (Qazaq kuresi), and Zhumazhan Kozhambekov (Qazaq kuresi).

The games feature 21 sports (including 10 demonstration events), with traditional games such as the Kazakh "Asyk Atu" and the Kyrgyz game "Ordo." A total of 2000 athletes from 89 countries are competing for 97 sets of medals, amounting to 581 medals overall.
