Kazakhstan judoka won bronze in Prague Judo World Cup

Kazakhstan judoka Azamat Mukanov won bronze medal in World Cup that was held in Prague, Tengrinews.kz reports, citing Sportlive.kz. This Kazakhstan 66 kilograms weight league fighter won four matches in the qualification round of the tournament and reached the final, where he yielded the victory to South Korean Minho Choi. Mukanov overpowered Georgian Sandro Yakobashvili and Jung Kwan, one other South Korean judoka when they were fighting for the third place. 15 fighters represented Kazakhstan in Prague. Meanwhile Women’s Judo World Cup stage has finished in Warsaw, Poland recently. Gulzhan Issanova, 90 kilograms weight league judoka, showed the best result among 9 Kazakhstan sportswomen. She reached the final, but failed to gain the bronze and came fifth. Kazakhstan judoka Maksim Rakov has become the Grand Prix prize-winner in Dusseldorf, Germany recently. Rakov won over South Korean Hee-Tae Hwang in the final fight.
