Kazakhstan hockey team won European Golden Puck

Junior Kazakhstan national hockey team (U-16) won the first place in the international hockey tournament 2011 European Golden Puck in Budapest, Hungary, Sports.kz reports. The Kazakh hockey team outplayed Slovak HC 46 BAREJOV 4:1. The Kazakh team's Ivan Stepanenko was named the best defence player of the tournament and Valery Sevidov - the best goalkeeper. 2011 European Golden Puck took place on April 1-3. Budapest Stars (HUN), HK Beostar (SRB), MTK (HUN), L.A. Stars (AUT), HC 46 Bardejov (SVK) and Kazakhstan National Team took part at the Tournament. Junior Kazakhstan team also played a friendly-match with SELECT MORAVY during the European tour winning 5:1. On April 8-10 the Kazakh team will play in Brumove, Czech Republic, against teams from Slovakia, Croatia, Poland, Ukraine, Chezch Republic and Russia.
