Kazakhstan expected to win one medal at Sochi Olympics

Kazakhstan national team is expected to gain only one silver medal at the Sochi Olympics, analysts of Infostrada sports website forecast. According to the analysts, Kazakhstan's skier Aleksey Poltoranin is going to get the only medal for his country as he did at the Vancouver Olympics. The sports portal gives Kazakhstan the 24th place in the general ranking. According to the website, Norway will lead by the medal count at the forthcoming Sochi Winter Olympics. The United States and Canada will share the 2nd place. Russia is going to be in the 9th place. It now remains to be sees whether the forecast will come true. The Winter Olympic Games will be held on February 7-23, 2014 in Sochi, Russia. Almost 3 000 athletes from 85 countries will compete for 98 sets of medals in seven sports events.
