Kazakhstan defeated Poland at World Ice Hockey Championship

Kazakhstan junior hockey team has defeated the Polish team at the U-20 World Hockey Championship, Tengrinews.kz reports with a reference to the National Hockey Federation press-office. The final score was 2:0: the pucks were delivered at the 12th minute by Dmitry Kostarev and at the 55th minute by Daulet Kenbayev. This is the second successive victory of Kazakhstan junior team at the World Championsip. On Monday the national team defeated the Japanese team 2:1 in Poland. The Kazakhstan team coached by Yerlan Sagymbayev is competing in the 1st division of the U-20 World Hockey Championship along with five other national teams. Only one team will qualify to the elite division in end. Kazakhstan is yet to face Croatia, France and Italy.
