Kazakhstan has broken into the Davis Cup quarterfinals after winning Italy in Astana, Tengrinews reports citing Vesti.kz.

Kazakhstan’s No.1 Mikhail Kukushkin defeated Andreas Seppi brining the score to 2:2. Kukushkin won with 7-6 (10/8), 6-0, 6-4 in two hours two minutes.

"Mikhail (Kukushkin) played very solid and aggressive tennis, while I had around 20 minutes in the second set when I didn't know what to do. And unlike the first day my serve was not helping me," Seppi said.
