Kazakhstan boxers won 9 medals at China Open-2011

12 boxers from Kazakhstan won 9 medals in the China Open-2011 international tournament held in China. The medals include three gold, two silver and four bronze, KazTAG reports. 146 representatives of 19 countries took part in the tournament which finished on June 3 in Guyang. Kazakhstan male boxers fought in 9 weight categories and female boxers were represented in 3 weight categories. Earlier Tengrinews.kz English reported that WSB Boxing Championship was held in Guizhou University in China. Kanat Abutalipov, 28, from the Astana Arlans won the champion's belt and a pass to the Olympics in London in 2012.
