Kazakhstan athletes have won their first medals at the Universiade held in Kazan, Tatarstan, Russia on July 6-17, the official website of the competition reports.Moldashev Dimash (-75kg) won silver and Ayan Yermekbayev (-82kg) earned a bronze medal in the Freestyle Belt Wrestling on July 7.Kazakhstan is in the 20th place in the updated general ranking. Russia is the leader of the ranking with a total of 21 medals (9 gold, 3 silver, 9 bronze). Then goes Ukraine with a total of 9 medals and China that has 8 medals.
