Tengrinews.kz – Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov presented the national flag to Kazakh athletes participating in the XVII Paralympic Summer Games 2024.
The head of the government met with members of the Kazakhstan national team ahead of the upcoming XVII Paralympic Summer Games 2024. At the Paralympic Training Center, Bektenov presented the national Paralympic team with the state flag of Kazakhstan, which the athletes will carry during the opening ceremony of the Games.

“The Paralympic Games are more than just sports; they are a symbol of the limitless possibilities of the human spirit. The flag you receive today symbolizes unity and victory. The Head of State emphasized that defending the honor of our country on the world stage is a great honor and responsibility. We are confident that you will represent Kazakhstan with dignity and bring home new medals,” Olzhas Bektenov said.
The state flag was presented to the flag bearers of the national Paralympic team: Berik Izmaganbetov, a medalist at the Asian Para Games and ten-time champion of Kazakhstan in sitting volleyball, and Sevda Aliyeva, a champion of Kazakhstan in para shooting.
