Kazakhstan's Barys hockey club has defeated Moscow’s Spartak at home. The team coached by Vladimir Krikunov delivered five pucks and missed only one during the Kontinental Hockey League match that was held on October 13 in Astana. Vadim Krasnoslobodtsev, Roman Starchenko, Fyodor Polishuk, Aleksey Litvinenko and Dmitry Upper of Barys team delivered the pucks. Andrey Kuzmin of Spartak was the only one who delivered a puck into Kazakhstan gates. In an interview to Vesti.kz Barys defenseman Roman Savchenko said that his team won thanks to the coach’s instruction to play very aggressively. “We delivered two pucks in the middle of the first half and these pucks made our rivals neglect their defenses even more. New players that have joined our team recently played well. We were like one fist, like one team,” he added. Barys will play its next match in the Kontinental Hockey League Championship at home again. Riga’s Dynamo will arrive to Astana on October 15.
