The upcoming fight between Kazakhstan's Gennady Golovkin and Martin Murray has been named among the 5 Fights to Watch in 2015 by Bleacher Report, Tengrinews reports.

The Golovkin-Murray fight was picked as the top 3rd must-watch fight of this year. According Michael Bacos of the sports portal, Floyd Mayweather, a “boxing's cash cow” is or rather remains the number one fighter to watch for in the middleweight division. Mayweather (47-0, 26 KOs) is followed by his possible opponent Manny "Pac-Man" Pacquiao (57-5-2, 38 KOs). While Mayweather-Pacquiao social media wars continue, Golovkin (31-0, 28 KOs) keeps the unnecessary talk to the minimum and prepares to face the toughest opponent yet.

Murray (29-1-1, 12KO's) seems to pose more threat to the undefeated Kazakhstani than his previous opponents in 2014, none of whom stood till the last round. The British boxer is known for two serious fights against Felix Strum and Sergio Martinez, both of which he lost. Golovkin is certainly quite likely to defeat Murray on February 21 in Monte Carlo, Monaco. For one thing, Triple G has the highest KO ratio among middleweight boxers. And speaking of tiresome wordiness many boxers suffer from, Golovkin is likable exactly for his straightforward manner and crushing punches.

The winner of the Golovkin-Murray fight will be the mandatory challenger to the WBC middleweight title held by Miguel Cotto. For Golovkin who wanted to fight Cotto this could be the only chance to face the Puerto Rican in the ring.

According to Golovkin’s manager Oleg German, almost all tickets to the fight in Monte Carlo have been sold out. Only most expensive €1500-2000 tickets are left.
