Gennady Golovkin has attended the Boxing Writers Association of America dinner in New York along with Terence Crawford, Bernard Hopkins and Roy Jones Jr, Tengrinews reports citing Golovkin’s official VK.com page.

Gennady Golovkin has attended the Boxing Writers Association of America dinner in New York along with Terence Crawford, Bernard Hopkins and Roy Jones Jr, Tengrinews reports citing Golovkin’s official VK.com page.

Golovkin was awarded an award In Recognition of the Highest Knockout Percentage of Any Middleweight Champion. Triple G boasting 90,63% KO rate won his last 19 fights with a KO.

Terence Crawford won the Sugar Ray Robinson Fighter of the Year. The Lucas Matthysse- John Molina fight was recognized as the Fight of the Year. Manny Pacquiao and Miguel Cotto’s coach Freddie Roach earned the Eddie Futch Award for Trainer of the Year.

Golovkin’s next fight is scheduled to May 16. The Kazakhstani undefeated boxer is facing an American southpaw Willie Monroe Jr at The Forum, Los Angeles.
