Gennady Golovkin has retained his WBA Super, IBO and WBC Interim middleweight titles after defeating Willie Monroe Jr., Tengrinews reports. The undefeated Kazakhstani TKOed his American opponent in the 6th round after 3 knockdowns earlier.

The victory over Monroe marked Golovkin's 33rd win and 20th KO in the professional ring.
