The fight against Nobuhiro Ishida in March 2013 topped the rating with 36% votes. Golovkin defended his WBA and IBO titles in Monte Carlo, Monaco. Ishida went down to the canvas in the 3rd rounds of the 12-round fight.
Golovkin’s victory over Mathew Macklin in July 2013 in the USA earned 19% of the votes and the second place. Golovkin of Kazakhstan KOed the Brimingham native in the 3rd round of the 12-round fight.
The most recent fight in California again a Mexican boxer Marco Antonio Rubio was recognized as the third most memorable in 2013-14. In the title unification fight Triple G ruthlessly brought Rubio to the canvas with a powerful left hook in the second round.
Kazakhstan's Gennady Golovkin remains undefeated and now holds WBA (Super), IBO and WBC Interim titles in middleweight category. His next fight is scheduled to February 21, 2015 in Monte Carlo, Monaco against a British boxer Martin Murray.
