The hosts started losing at the very first minute of the game after Nikolay Pengrin’s goal. Kazakhstan's Vitaly Khalyavin was successfully protecting his gate for the whole first time. Mikhail Pershin scored the second goal for Kazakhstan in the second time (23rd minute). All the attempts of the Latvian players to save the game failed.
