Almaty's Kairat mini-football club made it into the UEFA Futsal final stage. Almaty Club will participate in the Final Four thanks to its victory in the Futsal Cup Elite Round that was held in Serbian city of Kragujevac. Kairat whitewashed Serbia's Economac that hosted the game on October 13. The match ended with the score of 5:0. Brazilian legionnaires, Leo Santana and Aleshandre Moraes, who are capped for the Kazakhstan club scored all five goals. Aleshandre Morraes made a hat trick in this match. A hat-trick occurs in association football when a player scores three goals in a single game. Earlier Kairat secured a victory over Slovakia’s Slov-Matic (5:1) and Czech’s Chrudim (6:5) within the same round. Almaty Kairat mini-football club was established in 1995. It has joined the best European clubs recently. The Club won a bronze medal at the 2008/09 and 2010/11 UEFA Cups. Brazilian legionnaires constitute at least a half of the team.
