February 9 – day 3 of the Olympics: where and when to watch Kazakh athletes

Tengrinews.kz – Today, 9 February, another day of competition at the 2026 Winter Olympics will take place in Milan and Cortina d’Ampezzo. Athletes from Team Kazakhstan will compete in two sports.

Five medal events will be contested today. The programme includes finals in speed skating, alpine skiing, freestyle skiing, snowboarding and ski jumping.

For Kazakhstan, speed skaters Nadezhda Morozova, Elizaveta Golubeva and Kristina Silaeva will race in the 1000 metres. In the trial round of the ski jumping event, Ilya Mizernykh and Danil Vassilyev will take part.

Schedule of Kazakh athletes on 9 February

9:30 PM – Speed skating, women’s 1000 m: Kristina Silaeva, Elizaveta Golubeva, Nadezhda Morozova;

10:00 PM – Ski jumping, men, trial round: Ilya Mizernykh and Danil Vassilyev.

The events will be broadcast live on the TV channels Qazaqstan, Qazsport, Khabar and Jibek Joly.

For reference, the 2026 Winter Olympic Games are being held in Milan and Cortina d’Ampezzo (Italy) from 6 to 22 February, with more than 3,500 athletes from 93 countries taking part.
