Denis Ten, the only representative of Kazakhstan at the World Figure Skating Championship in Moscow, is planning to get one of top ten places, said Yuriy Guskov, Kazakhstan figure skating coach. Ten took the 13th place at the last championship. Another Kazakhstan figure-skater Abzal Rakhimgaliyev was not certified for participation this year. He was on the 21st place in 2010. “I can not make any statements yet, but we aim to be in top ten. The competition will be very intense,” said Guskov. The current world champion Daisuke Takahashi and renowned Takahiko Kozuka both from Japan will also compete for the champion's title. Fgure-skaters from USA, France and Canada are also positioned for high places in men's single skating. It is impossible for name the women' single skating champion right away either. The current world champion Mao Asada from Japan will compete with the Olympic champion Yuna Kim from South Korea. Russia received the right to host the World Figure Skating Championship 2011 that was initially supposed to be held in Japan. 199 sportsmen from 45 countries will be arriving to Moscow starting from April 22. The Championship will start on April 25.
