The welterweight (up to 66.7 kilograms) match will be held in Atlantic-City (New-Jersey, USA). The match will consist of eight rounds. Kazakhstan boxer fought on May 23, 2010 for the last time. He won over Argentinean Valter Sergio Gomes with a technical knock-out in the second round of the match then. Meanwhile the date of the match between Gennady Golovkin, another Kazakhstan boxer, who holds the WBA regular champion title and German Felix Sturm, the WBA super-champion is still undecided. Golovkin automatically became a candidate for the fight against Sturm after he knocked down American Lajuan Simon in the first round of the match.
