According to Olympic champion Alexandre Vinokourov, the presentation of Astana team prior to the new season will be held on December 13, Vesti.kz reports referring to Astanafans.com. “The first training camp has finished recently and all cyclists returned to their homes. We will meet for the next training camp in Sardinia on December 2-12. The presentation of the team will take place in Astana on December 13,” Vinokourov said. He also added that there would be more sports directors in the team than in Russia’s Katyusha.” “Martinelli has complained that there was a lack of sports directors in Astana. Everybody has got their own tasks. Sedun spends a lot of time working for Astana-2 team. Fofonov will ride with young cyclists,” the Olympic champion said. The former Estonian cyclist Jaan Kirsipuu was appointed Astana's new sports director recently.
