Kazakhstan's cyclist Maxim Iglinsky won the first ever cycling marathon Tour of Almaty, Vesti.kz reports. The marathon was held for the first time ever on October 6, 2013 in Almaty, Kazakhstan. 20 teams competed for the main prize. "Thank you everyone for your support! The race was excellent!" said Iglinsky right after he finished the race. Maxim was leading almost during the whole final round. Italian cyclist Sonny Colbrelli of Bardiani Valvole - CSF Inox completed the race in the 2nd place. Ruslan Tleubayev, a cyclist of the Kazakhstan national team, got the third place. The winner of the Tour of Almaty Maxim Iglinsky was awarded with 15 thousand Euro. The debut race was 156 kilometers long instead of the initially promised 186 kilometers.
