Kazakhstan’s Astana cycling team has moved up to the fifth line in the International Cycling Union (UCI) ranking, Vesti.kz reports. This happened thanks to the victory of Italian cyclist Vincenzo Nibali in Tirreno-Adriatico marathon cycling race that finished on March 12. As a result Kazakhstan’s team scored 113 points and moved 11 lines up. British Sky Procycling is still the leader of the ranking. Nibali himself, who scored 106 points, moved up to the third line in the individual ranking. Australia’s Richie Porte is still the leader, but he is only 7 points ahead of the Italian cyclist caped for Kazakhstan's Astana. The national cycling team of Kazakhstan moved two lines down and is ranked 18th in the UCI national ranking now. Kazakhstan cyclists have only four points. Spanish team -- the leader of the rating -- has 309 points.
