Kazakhstan Astana team cyclist, Slovenian Janez Brajkovic, won the Slovenia Tour marathon race, Tengrinews.kz reports, citing Vesti.kz. The Slovenian cyclist came sixth in the last stage of the individual 17.8-kilometer race in Ljubljana. Brajkovic was more than 30 seconds behind Kristian Koren, winner of individual time trial. However he has managed to stay ahead of Italian Domenico Pozzovivo (Colnago), the leader of general classification according to the results of three stages. "Happy with the win (but) not happy with today's (time trial). Need to improve," Brajkovic wrote in his Twitter after the race. Janez Brajkovic from Astana was ahead of Italian Domenico Pozzovivo from Colnago overall. Pozzovivo became second and Kristian Koren of Liquigas, winner of the last stage, became third overall.
