Don Don (or Sam, the way he likes to call himself in English) is a common laborer from Urumqi. He has already covered 2.5 thousand kilometers on his bicycle. Local residents accommodated the cyclists for several days in Petropavlovsk. “I have heard that one French cyclist from Paris went to China by bicycle. I want to repeat his route, but in the opposite direction. There are 9 000 kilometers ahead of me and there 94 days remain until the London Olympics. I will make it in time,” Don Don said. He has already bought the tickets for the Olympics. Don Don will stay in Petropavlovsk till May 1. His Russian visa will be issued for him in a few days. After Russia Don Don will travel to Ukraine, then he will pass through Hungary, Austria, France and finish his journey in the UK.
