Central stadium in Almaty to have record capacity

Tengrinews.kz – Central stadium of Almaty will have record capacity after reconstruction. This was announced during the government meeting by Almaty akim (governor) Erbolat Dossaev.

Tengrinews.kz – Central stadium of Almaty will have record capacity after reconstruction. This was announced during the government meeting by Almaty akim (governor) Erbolat Dossaev.

According to Dossaev, reconstruction of the main stadium of the city is expected with expansion by 35 thousand seats.

"This year reconstruction of the high-mountain sports complex (MSC) Medeu will begin, as well as the Central stadium with an increase in capacity to 35 thousand spectators. Completion of the work is planned for 2027," he said.
