Kazakhstani canoe team won the 4th gold medal at the 17th Asian Games, Tengrinews reports citing Vesti.kz. September 29 marks the luckiest day for Kazakhstani team. So far, Kazakhstan has 15 gold medals.

Nataliya Sergeyeva and Irina Podoinikova won the gold in the Kayak Double (K2) 500m Women. Wenjun Ren and Quig Ma from China took the silver and Japanese Asumi Ohmura and Shiho Kakizaki won the bronze medal.

Overall Kazakhstani canoe team won 5 gold, 3 silver and 2 bronze medals in Incheon.

Kazakhstan retains its 4th place in the ranking with a total of 53 medals: 15 gold,16 silver and 22 bronze medals.
