Sergey Korchinskiy, Kazakhstan's boxing club Astana Arlans head coach told about the team's plans for the World Series of Boxing (WSB) season, Vesti.kz reports. “Of course, our goal is to win the World Series of Boxing season. I have come here to make this happen. I admit that the team’s management just won’t accept any other result,” the Ukrainian expert said. According to him, he is satisfied with the last bout when his team won over Ukraine's Otamans in Kiev. “I am pleased because we managed to win the away competition. It was not easy to fight in Kiev. Besides, Ukrainian boxers are not weak. Kazakhstan's team could have won with a more impressive score, but this is only the beginning of the season. There are more bouts ahead of us,” Korchinskiy said. The Kazakhstan team's coach, who used to train WSB Dolce & Gabbana Milano Thunder Club, spoke about the reasons why he chose the Kazakhstan's team. “We started negotiating this move last year after the first match between Astana Arlans and Dolce & Gabbana Milano Thunder that I coached back then. We were negotiating during all this period and came to the agreement this summer. There is a highly-qualified coaching staff in Astana Arlans team. Everyone found the Kazakhstan's team difficult to compete with,” he added.
