Only five legionnaires will represent Kazakhstan team Astana Arlans in the new season of the World Series of Boxing, Vesti.kz reports. "The coach board decided that only five legionnaires - Sergei Derevyachenko, Filip Khrgovich, Mihai Nistro, Ehsan Rauzbahani and Khvoye Sep - will stay. The rest of the team will consist of Kazakhstan boxers," Director General of the team Bolat Mankenov said. He also said that the team would go to Bulgaria for general trainings and preparations on September 6, and announced that Astana Arlans would face Baku Fires of Azerbaijan in the first matches of the season on November 15 in Kazakhstan. Astana Arlans won over Ukraine Otamans with the score of 6:5 in the finals of the Season III, and became the WBS champions. Bantamweight boxer Bagdad Alimbekov brought the decisive point to his team. The Season IV Official Draw in Lausanne, Switzerland, put Kazakhstan team in the Group B. At the group stage Astana Arlans will face Mexico Guereros, Cuba Domadores, Azerbaijan Baku Fires, Russian Boxing Team and Hussars Poland teams. The WBS Season IV will be held in ten weight categories instead of the usual five.
