Boxing: Kazakhstan boxer Demyanenko defended WBC title

Kazakhstan boxer Vitally Demyanenko won over African Prince Doku Jr., holder of WBC (World Boxing Council) Youth Intercontinental belt, Vesti.kz reports. The bout was held in Zhanaozen in Kazakhstan as part of a boxing tournament. The bout ended in the sixth round, when referees stopped the match and awarded the 29-y.o. Kazakhstan boxer with the victory. Demyanenko has got no defeats in his professional career yet. Owing to the victory in this tournament, he defended his PABA (Pan Asian Boxing Association) and WBC (World Boxing Council) ASIA PACIFIC belts.
