Kazakhstan boxer Gennady Golovkin gave an interview to Allboxing.ru website. He spoke about former world champion Dmitry Pirog and his expectations from the forthcoming fight against Gabriel Rosado. “As for the fight against Rosado – it is foolish to make any forecasts in boxing,” Golovkin said. “But I can say that I’ll be fully prepared for the fight against Rosado. As for the long-awaited bout between Golovkin and Russia’s Dmitry Pirog, Kazakhstan boxer said: “I am familiar with Dmitry Pirog. I have talked to him frequently and we are friends. So, I don’t have a personal dislike for him. I respect him as a person and as a former world champion. As for our potential bout, I want this fight, because people often compare us. I’d like to find out who is stronger. Any way, I have never sheered away from any fights during my professional career.”
