The ranking was made by an independent web-portal Boxrec.com. American boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr is the leader of the ranking. Ukrainian Wladimir Klitschko is in the 2nd place, Timothy Bradley from the United States is 3rd in the list, then goes American Juan Manuel Marquez followed by Mexican boxer Saul Alvarez, Sergio Gabriel Martinez of Spain, British Carl Froch, Americans Bernard Hopkins and Danny Garcia. Kazakhstan's star boxer Gennady 'GGG' Golovkin is in the 10th place of the ranking. Besides, Kazakhstan boxer Gennady 'GGG' Golovkin made it into the world's TOP 5, the HBO's puond-for-pound ranking of five best boxers that also includes American boxers Floyd Mayweather, Andre Ward, Timothy Bradley and Argentina's Sergio Martinez. In his recent fight the unbeaten boxer from Kazakhstan Gennady 'GGG' Golovkin won over American boxer Curtis Stevens and retained his WBA world middleweight title on November 2. His next fight is scheduled for February 1 in Monte Carlo.
