Boxing: Astana Arlans will fight German Eagles

Kazakhstan Astana Arlans boxing club had announced its squad for the next WSB match against German Eagles, Astana Arlans official website reports. Sergey Korchinsky, head coach of the club, has set forth almost the same squad of boxers against the German Eagles as the one that won over the Italia Thunder in the last match of 2012. Bagdad Alimbekov, Sergey Derevyanchenko and Eric Donovan will appear in the boxing ring once again. Croatian legionnaires Hrvoje Sep and Filip Hrgovic will fight against the German club instead of Ramzhon Akhmedov and Mihai Nistor, who fought against the Italia Thunder. Ireland’s Eric Donovan will have to fight against his fellow countryman David Joyce. German Eagles vs Astana Arlans Bantamweight – Nicolae Razvan Andreiana vs Bagdad Alimbekov Lightweight – David Oliver Joyce vs Eric Martin Donovan Middleweight – Xhek Paskali vs Sergey Derevyanchenko Light-heavyweight- Serge Michel vs Hrvoje Filip Heavyweight – Eric Brechlin vs Filip Hrgovic The match will be held the German city of Hannover on January 12. Kazakhstan El-Arna TV channel will air the match at 01:00 a.m. Astana time.
