Kazakhstan Astana Arlans boxing club will continue fighting in the World Series Boxing (WSB) tournaments, Tengrinews.kz reports, citing the Kazakhstan Boxing Federation press-office. The Federation’s Executive Committee has made a decision that the Club will continue to exist. During the decision-making session it was said that the Astana Arlans had made a huge work in the second WSB season and the project received recognition from the public and is quite popular in Kazakhstan now. Timur Kulibayev, Kazakhstan Boxing Federation president, assigned the Astana Arlans supervisory committee chief Almasadam Satkaliyev and General Director of the Club Bolat Mankenov with a task to work out a new schedule for the team’s third WSB season. They were instructed to strengthen the coaching staff and select the best boxers. The Astana Arlans failed to reach the final of the second season of the series yielding the victory to Russian Dynamo Moscow Club. Bolat Mankenov wanted to resign after the failure; however, he will continue working for the Club in the new season.
