Bolat Mankenov, General director of Kazakhstan's professional boxing club Astana Arlans, has asked Kazakhstan fans to support the Kazakhstan club at the final match of the World Series of Boxing (WSB) against Ukraine Otamans that will be held in Astana on May 10-11, Vesti.kz reports. “The tickets won’t be so expensive. There are 9000 seats at the Saryarka cycle track and we hope that our fans will support the boxers. About 100 Ukraine Otamans fans will come to the finals as well,” Mankenov said. The Astana Arlans director called Kazakhstan fans to behave themselves: “This is a great event and it will be broadcast all over the world. We have experienced ugly behavior of fans in some countries. We hope the finals in our country will go without a hitch on the part of our fans. We won't no racial comments towards our rivals from the audience. Healthy emotions and feelings are great and we’d welcome them.” Mankenov refused to make a forecast prior to the forthcoming match and said that the chances of the clubs were pretty much equal: fifty-fifty. He added that there were no injured boxers in Astana Arlans club and all the members of the Kazakhstan club had started training for the WSB finals on April 29.
