Best racehorses chosen in Kazakhstan

The best racehorses of 2012 racing season have been named in Kazakhstan, Kazakhstan Today reports, referring to Sadybek Tugel, National Sport Federation president. According to him, winners of ten categories were selected by the following criteria: the total amount of earnings, horse ranking, results of voting of handicappers, experts and journalists of horse racing magazines. 4-y.o. racehorse named Ihavenotime became the winner in three categories: The Horse of the Year, The Best Senior Horse, The Best Stayer. Kaskarau breeding farm from Almaty oblast is the owner of the horse. Sadybek Tugel said that 4-y.o. red English thoroughbred mare Ihavenotime is from Ireland. It had already won 4 racers in Kazakhstan during its 2-year professional career. “Ihavenotime’s speed is 3 minutes and 23 seconds. Her father is one of the best breeders. He is the champion of Europe and won 7 races out of 15 during his racing career,” the expert said. Nodouble Destiny from Pavlodar KazAt horse farm was awarded the Best 3-Year Old Stallion title. Baby from Ekibastuz Gran farm became The Best 3-Year Old Mare. Mugalzhar from Aktobe Nurdaulet horse farm won The Best Two-Year Old Stallion award. Dance Motive, trained by Ulfat Usmanov from Kokshetau became The Best Two-Year Old Mare. Artistic Touch stallion became number one in The Best Miler Horse category and Dubawi Gulf mare was chosen The Best Sprinter. 3-year old stallion Taraz (belongs to private owner from Almaty) won in The Rising Star category. Pyotr Korabelnikov from Pavlodar (KazAt horse farm) became the best coach and Yedil Khussainov from the same farm was chosen the best horse jockey.
