16 world strongest judoka will take part in Almaty World Masters Judo Tournament, Tengrinews.kz reports, referring to the press-office of National Teams and Sport Reserve Committee under the Ministry of Tourism and Sport of Kazakhstan. The competition will be held on January 14-15 in Baluan Sholak Sports Complex in Almaty. The judoka will fight for spots in the Olympic Games that will take place on July 27 – August 12, 2012 in London. Almaty hosted the Judo World Cup in the end of September, 2011. Kazakhstan fighters won three gold, two silver and five bronze medals then. Following the results of the Cup Kazakhstan judo national team became the leader in the overall ranking of the competition.
