Astana Basketball Club has cancelled its contract with Serbian legionnaire Luka Drca, Vesti.kz reports, citing the press-service of the Club. 25-y.o. Serbian basketball player and Kazakhstan Basketball Club agreed on a halfway cancellation of the one-year contract by mutual consent. Luka Drca started playing for Astana Club in the middle of the last season. He took part in 10 VTB United League matches, where he scored about 5 points during each match. He also played in 19 matches of the National League of Kazakhstan, where he scored 8 points on average. Drca became the holder of 2012 Kazakhstan Cup and the Champion of 2011/2012 National League of Kazakhstan as part of Astana Basketball Club. Luka Drca thanked the administration of the Club, players, staff of coaches and club’s managers for the provided facilities and for their trust and wished good luck, success and new bright victories to the team. “I will cheer for Astana Club and will watch the matches,” Luka said.
