Kazakhstan tennis professional Mikhail Kukushkin has moved 28 lines up in the updated ATP rating due to his success in the Australian Open, the first Grand Slam series tournament, Tengrinews.kz reports, referring to the official Association of Tennis Professionals' website. Now Kukushkin is ranked 64th. The Kazakhstan tennis professional has move the most lines among those in the first hundred players' rating. Another Kazakhstan tennis player Andrey Golubev has also improved his position. He has moved 13 lines up and is ranked 133rd now. Kukushkin reached the fourth round of Australian Open where he yielded the victory to British Andy Murray. Golubev started the tournament from qualifications and reached the second round where he lost to French Rishar Gaske. There were no changes in the first three lines of the ATP ranking. Serbian Novak Djokovic, the winner of Australian Open is the leader of the rating. Spanish Rafael Nadal and Swiss Rodger Federer follow him.
