Kazakhstan team Astana came fifth following the results of the fifth stage of Dakar race, the most prestigious world rally raid, Tengrinews.kz reports, referring to the official website of the race.
The team led by Arthur Ardavichus in trucks class has yielded 14 minutes and 35 seconds to Dutch racer Gerard De Rooy. Ardavichus is behind De Rooy 27 minutes and 38 seconds in general classification now. However Astana is ranked fifth in the overall standing according to the results of all stages.
Kazakhstan team finished the race 113th in offroaders class.
